Headwind Hell

Today was one of those rare days in Southern California. Stormy, rain off and on, and later in the day - windy. I took off on my hour run today and for the first 30 minutes, everything seemed pretty nice. A little cool, but in a long sleeve shirt, it wasn't too bad. Heart rate below 150, making about 10:00 per mile. Everything cool. I got to my turnaround point, and I found out why. The wind must have been blowing 15 miles an hour at my back the entire time.

The way back was *not* fun. I got to run into a headwind and uphil. Got about 5.8 miles in and spent time looking for quarters.......
